I think I speak for Dave Vincent and I know that I never want to sandblast and paint a caboose completely inside and out ever again. I had been a member of the chamber of commerce for many years when my good friend David Vincent asked me if I could help out on a little paint job for the chamber, I think I should have asked more questions ha ha. I donated 60 gallons of paint and the better part of a whole week but as you can see we both still had a smile on our faces and were looking forward to the chamber having a new home. Jeff worked with Pat Peach in the spring of 1997 and was one of the original founders of the Mary's River Rod Run. The first Rod Run was held at the Frolic and Rodeo grounds and presented several challenges for the show. The following year it was moved to Applegate Street between 9th & 11th streets and was a location that was much better suited for the car show. Please visit the Marys River Rod Run page to see photos.
